Bessie M. (McKibben) Fackler

Bessie M. Fackler, age 86, of 48 Pettit Street, Shiloh, died Monday morning at her home after an extended illness. She was born March 3, 1902 in Ashland, Ohio the daughter of John and Ella (Brubaker) McKibben.
Mrs. Fackler was a former employee of Westinghouse Corp. in Mansfield. She was a charter member of the Taylortown Community Church where she was the church secretary for many years and taught Sunday school for over 30 years.
Mrs. Fackler is survived by 1 son: Harley Hoover of Shiloh; 1 daughter: Mrs. Donald (Mary Jane) Gardner of Mansfield; 4 sisters: Mrs. Robert (Pauline) Culler and Florence Keith both of Mansfield; Martha Oliver of Georgia; and Mary Brownell of New York; 3 brothers: Harry McKibben
and Theodore McKibben both of New York; and Howard McKibben of Hayesville, Ohio; 4 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; 21 step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 3 husbands, one brother, one sister, two grandchildren, and 3 step-children.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 A.M. at the Turner Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Edward N. Beck, Pastor of Taylortown Community Church and Rev. Edward Gayheart, Pastor of Temple of God, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby. Friends may call on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and left at the funeral home.
