Bertha I. (Cook) Clabaugh
Bertha I. Clabaugh of Shelby, died Sunday, December 6, 2009 at Physician’s Choice Hospital in Fremont, Ohio.
She was born March 13, 1918 in Shelby the daughter of the late David W. and Maude M. (Wallick) Cook. She was a 1936 graduate of Shelby High School and was a former employee of Shelby Spring Hinge Company. She enjoyed golf and painting china.
Bertha is survived by her 3 sons: Thomas and Janet Clabaugh of Shelby, Terry and Joann Clabaugh of Woodville, Ohio and Chris and Kristi Clabaugh of Port Clinton, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Julius H. Clabaugh in 1998, a sister: Marguerite M. Cook in 2004, and 2 brothers: Howard L. Cook in 1980 and David Cook in 2006.
Friends may call on Wednesday, December 9, 2009 from 10-11 AM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby. Funeral services will be on Wednesday at the funeral home at 11 AM with Rev. David Sipes officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby. Memorial expressions may be made to Physician’s Choice Hospital in Fremont.
