Beatrice V. (Yetzer) Dick

Beatrice V. Dick, age 98, of Shelby, died unexpectedly, Saturday, October 20, 2001 at her home.
She was born June 4, 1903 in Shelby, the daughter of the late John and Helen (Faust) Yetzer. Mrs. Dick was a homemaker and a member of Most Pure Heart Of Mary Catholic Church, Altar Rosary Society, AARP, and Shelby American Legion Auxiliary.
Mrs. Dick is survived by 2 daughters and a son-in-law: Marilyn Tennant of Jerseyville, IL, Barbara and Ronald Finnegan of Shelby Settlement; 8 grandchildren and spouses: Tanya and Mitchell Hartings, Shannon Finnegan, Rhonda and David Gregson, Erin Finnegan, Molly Finnegan, Megan Finnegan, Diane and Larry Ramey, and Eric Tennant; 7 great-grandchildren: Seth, Spencer, Max and Emma Hartings, Callan, Jack, and Rylee Gregson; 2 sisters: Helen Yetzer and Mary Metzger both of Shelby; a sister-in-law, Catherine Yetzer of Shelby.
She was precededin death by her husband, Paul W. Dick in 1978; twin sons William and Ralph Dick in 1935, 6 brothers: Clarence, Urban, Joe, John, Howard and Louis Yetzer; and 2 sisters: Irene Clark and Martha Stella.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2001 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby where a Christian Wake service will be held at 8:45 PM.
Mass of Ressurection will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:30 AM at Most Pure Heart Of Mary Catholic Church with Father Nick Cunningham officiating. Burial will be in Most Pure Heart Of Mary Catholic Cemetery. Memorial expressions may be made to St. Mary School in Shelby or Sacred Heart School in Bethlehem.
