Beatrice R. (Rathburn) Wagoner

Beatrice R. Wagoner, age 81, of 103 Park Village, Shelby, died early Sunday morning at her home, unexpectedly. She was born May 4, 1908 in East Troy, Pennsylvania, the daughter of John and Vera (Landon) Rathburn.

On March 29, 1930, she married Byron Richmond Wagoner, Sr., and he preceded her in death on October 21, 1986.

Mrs. Wagoner is survived by 1 son, Byron Richmond Wagoner, Jr., of North Olmstead; 1 daughter
Mrs. Keith (Janet) Bloom of Shelby; 5 grandchildren: Beth and Bev Wagoner of North Olmstead, Daron Bloom, of North Dakota, and Mitzi and Tiki Bloom of Shelby.

Besides her husband she was preceded in death by 1 brother and 1 sister.

Mrs. Wagoner was a homemaker, a member of the First Lutheran Church, and a former member of the Half Holiday Club.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Bersticker Funeral Home, at the Corner of Byrne and Heatherdowns in Toledo, with the Rev. Paul Hegele, officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery, Fulton County, Ohio. Friends may call on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Bersticker Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Lutheran Church in care of the Turner Funeral Home which is in charge of the arrangements.
