Beatrice Pearl (Goff) Smith
Beatrice Pearl Smith, 85, of 14 Steele Avenue, Shelby, died early Friday, December 5, 1997, in Med Central-Shelby Hospital after a long illness.
She was born March 4, 1912 in Morrow County, Ohio the daughter of Johnson Ray and Alma (Amick) Goff. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and a former employee of the Stratbury Mfg. Co. in Galion. She was a member of Galion First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by 1 daughter and son-in-law, Joan and Richard Yetzer of Shelby; 5 grandchildren and spouses, Paula and Ralph Chope, Diane Yetzer, and Douglas Yetzer all of Columbus, Philip and Carol Yetzer of Valrico, Fla., and Brian Yetzer of Shelby; 1 great granddaughter , Katie Yetzer of Valrico, Fla.; 4 sisters and 3 brothers-in-law, Dora Fate and Elva Columbus both of Galion, Alyonia and Roger Townsend and Manuel Medrano all of Mansfield, Wanda Amick of Mt. Gilead and James Pirrgo of Lexington. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Andrew Liscano and her second husband, Charles C. Smith, 1 brother, Johnson Goff, Jr., 3 sisters, Edna Sipe, Eileen Pirrgo, and Mary Jaunita Medrano.
Calling hours will be on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby, where funeral services will be held on Monday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev.
