Condolence:
I was very sorry to read about Ms Durkin passing in the paper this morning. I was her mailman while she lived in Grayson Village in Dumfries. When she told me of her illness I was sad, but it took no time at all to realize she was a kind and caring person who had come to grips with her illness. She seemed to be fiercely independent (refusing to let me bring her mail to her every day), but smiling and happy when I would. She was a joy to talk with and always had a kind word. I missed her when she relocated and know she is now at peace and in a wonderful place. May your memories give you strength at this time.
