Ava B. Armold

Ava B. Armold, 80, formerly of 127 Park Village, died Saturday morning in Crestwood Care Center after a short illness.
Born March 13, 1906, in Shelby, she had been a Shelby resident all of her life. Mrs. Armold was a homemaker and a member of First Lutheran Church and the church’s Ruth Gleaners Sunday School Class.
Surviving are a son, Jan Dick of Shelby; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. Her first husband, Everett Dick, died in 1930, and her second husband, Charles Armold, in 1979. She was also preceded in death by two sisters.
Friends may call Tuesday a half hour before 10:30 a.m. memorial services at First Lutheran Church conducted by the Rev. Carl L. Johnson. Memorial contributions may be made to the church and left at Turner Funeral Home which is handling the arrangments.
