Augusta M. (Zansinger) Schreiber

Augusta M. Schreiber, age 90, of 33 Second Street; Shelby, died Sunday morning, August 31, 1997 at her home after a short illness. She was born April 18, 1907 in Touroggon, Lithuania, the daughter of Ludwig and Christina (Salz) Zansinger.

Mrs. Schreiber was a homemaker and an active member of the First Lutheran Church in Shelby.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, August E. and Patricia Schreiber of Shelby; one daughter, Edie Giddens of Columbus; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 4 sisters in Germany.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Emil Schreiber in 1974, a daughter, Irene Schreiber, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Friends may call on Tuesday form 6-8 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby and one hour prior to the 10 a.m. funeral service on Wednesday at the First Lutheran Church. Rev. D. Evan Houck and Rev. June Fryman will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.

Memorials may be made to the First Lutheran Church or Hospice of North Central Ohio.
