Audrey J. (Chambers) Boreman
Audrey J. Boreman, age 80 of 71 Auburn Avenue, Shelby, died Tuesday, October 25, 2005 at The Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus after a short illness.
She was born October 19, 1925 in Galion the daughter of the late Walter M. and Sarah Florence (Bell) Chambers. Audrey was a 1943 graduate of Galion High School and was a homemaker. She an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Shelby where she served as deacon and was also a member of the Progressive Mothers Club. She was a former employee of the Shelby Sales Book Co. and had been a cashier at Cornell’s IGA for many years. She enjoyed baking, pastries especially pies and cookies. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
Audrey is survived by: Her children: Michael and Jennifer Boreman of Lexington, OH, Brent and Susan Boreman of Moon Township, PA, and Christine and Jack Kitzmiller of Shelby; 7 grandchildren, Aaron Boreman, Arica Boreman, Michele Burgess, Megan Boreman, Monica Boreman, Kendra Kitzmailler, and Jason Kitzmiller; a great grandson, Harrison Burgess; 2 sisters, Helen Clabaugh and Mary Dill both of Galion. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Ray Boreman on September 12, 2005 and by a sister, Irene Chambers in 2005.
Friends may call on Thursday, October 27, 2005 at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, from Noon-1PM where funeral services will be conducted at 1PM by Rev. James Smith. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.
