Arthur W. Bricker

Arthur W. Bricker, 77, of 34 Woodland Road, formerly of Mansfield Avenue, died Tuesday morning at Shelby Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

Born June 8, 1908 in Shelby, he was the son of William and Sybilla Bricker.

Bricker retired from the composing room of Shelby Business Forms (now UFORMA) in 1973.
He was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Shelby, Aries 763 Fraternal Order of Eagles, the American Legion, Fraternal Order of Owls, Chapt. 178 Royal Arch Masons, Lodge No. 350 F. and A.M. all of Shelby and the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Columbus.

He is survived by his wife, Rachel (Anderson) Bricker, whom he married on June 21, 1933.
Also surviving are two sons: James A. Bricker of Shelby and Theodore (Ted) Bricker of Gahanna; three grandchildren, one great-granddaughter; and one brother, Owen P. Bricker of Shelby. He was preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers.

A graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Oakland Cemetery with his pastor, Rev. Carl Johnson, officiating. Friends may call 2-4 this afternoon and 7-9 tonight at Turner Funeral Home. A Masonic service will be held 8 tonight at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Shelby Public Health League and left at the funeral home.
