Alline (Felty) Perry

Alline Perry, age 65, of 331 South Gamble Street; Shelby, died Friday, December 15, 1995, at her home after a long illness. She was born May 16, 1930 in Blaze, Kentucky the daughter of Charlie and Minnie (Hausley) Felty.

Mrs. Perry was employed at Shelby Memorial Hospital for 42 years, retiring January 1, 1993. She worked in food service and was famous for her pies. She was a member of the Church Of Go on London West Road in Shelby. She and her husband have sung at area nursing homes for many years.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas A. Perry, whom she married on March 2, 1945; 1 son, Thomas L. Perry of Sulphur Springs, Ohio; 3 daughters and 3 sons-in-law, Betty and Richard LaBarge of Shelby;
Maxine and Tom Fellows of Sulphur Springs, Ohio; Mary and David Funkhouser of Willard; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Walter Felty of Ashland; 2 sisters, Nannie Payton of Mansfield and Lucy Harden of Salt Lick, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Calling hours will be on Monday from 3-5 and 7-9 P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:30 A.M. at the Church of God on London West Road in Shelby with Rev. C.E. Sanders and Rev. Rick Wiseman officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.

Memorial contributions may be made to the North Central Ohio Hospice and left in care of the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street; Shelby, Ohio 44875.
