Alice V. Lorentz

Alice V. Lorentz, age 57, of Ganges Five Points Road, Shiloh, died unexpectedly Saturday afternoon at her home. She was born January 7, 1934 in Williams County, Ohio, the daughter of Fred and Vesta (Sonnanstine) Lorentz.

Miss Lorentz was a homemaker and a member of the Rome Community Church.

She is survived by 4 sisters: Mrs. Norman (Helen) Castor and Mrs. Robert (Betty) Flory both of Bryan, Ohio; Mildred Winover of McClure, Ohio; and Mrs. Rex (Ruth) Detwiler of West Unity, Ohio; 4 brothers: Fred Lorentz, Jr., Robert Lorentz, and Edward Lorentz all of Bryan, Ohio; and Jake Lorentz of Edgerton, Ohio; 1 aunt, Martha Hipsher of Crestline, and an uncle, Woodrow Sonnanstine of Shiloh, with whom she made her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Martha.

Calling hours will be held today from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00P.M. with her pastor the Rev. Donald Burton of Rome Community Church, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh.
