Alice C. (Csutoros) Snyder

Alice C. Snyder, age 75, of 69 Third Street, Shelby, died Saturday afternoon at her home after an extended illness. She was born October 23, 1912 in Hungary, the daughter of Alexis and Vilma (Sera) Csutoros.

She married Joseph H. Snyder on February 11, 1946, and he preceded her in death on December 5, 1983.

Mrs. Snyder is survived by 2 daughters: Mrs. S. (Deborah) Jatana of Columbus, Ohio, and Mrs. Stephen (Frances) Eppig of San Diego, California; 4 grandchildren; 1 brother: Stephen Csutoros of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; 2 sisters: Kornel Prince of Los Angeles, and Vilma Strom of Walnut Creek, CA.

Mrs. Snyder was a graduate of The Ohio State University where she received a Masters Degree in Education. She was a former teacher in Euclid and Shelby. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Mansfield, the Shelby Womens Club, the AARP, and Retired Teachers Association.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at the Turner Funeral Home with her pastor the Rev. William L. Bowers officiating. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 untill the time of the service at the funeral home. Private committal services for the family will follow in Shenandoah Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Mansfield and left at the funeral home.
