Agnes L. Swinning

Agnes L. Swinning, age 61, of 2121 Lexington Avenue, Mansfield, died Saturday, January 22, 2005 at her home after a short illness.

She was born, December 16, 1943 in Georgetown, Kentucky the daughter of the late Joseph and Virgie (Binnion) Bryant. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Apostolic Church on Belmont Avenue in Mansfield. She enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles.

Agnes is survived by 4 daughters, Debbie Vollmer and Dale Weir, Robin and Ronald Storms, Patty and Danny Smith, JoJo and Patrick Benedict all of Mansfield; 2 sons, Allen and Brenda Lambert and Wayne Lambert all of Mansfield; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; a step daughter, Karen Swinning of Mansfield and 2 step sons, Michael Swinning of Texas and David Swinning of Mansfield; 8 step grandchildren; 7 step great grandchildren; She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Joseph G. Swinning in 1995.

Friends may call on Tuesday, January 25, 2005 from 6-8 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, where funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Brian Phillips of the Wyandotte Freewill Baptist Church, at 11:00 AM on Wednesday. Burial will be in Crawford County Memory Gardens.
