Ada Mae (Plank) Stevens

Ada Mae (Plank) Stevens, age 81, of 1723 State Route 603, Lucas, died Monday morning at home after a long illness. She was born May 8, 1913 in Rowan County, Kentucky the daughter of J.D. and Rosa (Adams) Plank.
Mrs. Stevens was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and baking. She was a member of the Paradise Freewill Baptist Church in Mansfield.
She is survived by 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Tina and Ralph Dunham of Shelby; and Patty and Lee Minor of Lucas; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie and Pamela Stevens of Mansfield; and Gregory and Laura Stevens of Marion; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Stirl Stevens in 1974, by 2 sons Vernon Stevens in 1994 and Donnie J. Stevens; by 1 daughter, Remonia Stevens ; 7 brothers and 2 sisters;
Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 4-6 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street in Shelby. Calling hours will also be held on Wednesday after 1 p.m. at the Northcutt and Son Funeral Home in Morehead, Kentucky.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Adams-Plank Community Church, Cranston Road, in Rowan County, Kentucky with Rev. Cecil Ison, Rev. Max Molihan and Rev. Bruce Copley, officiating. Burial will be in Adams-Plank Cemetery.
